Regis Sprint 2021 at Goodwood Motor Circuit
Our annual flagship event went very well, running under the latest Motorsport UK Covid guidelines, and a good days sport was had by almost all. There were the usual sprinkling of terminal technical failures, but just the one car/scenery interface, which fortunately only resulted in some wrinkles to metalwork. The new Covid compliant timing system worked as hoped and competitors were able to access their times and positions from the comfort of wherever they happened to be by logging on to the BRMC website. Just a few photo’s to give a flavour of the event courtesy of Mick Briggs.
Howard Harman in his 1947 MG TC
David Clark BRMC - Caterham Sprint – bit of a change from mountain biking....
John Davies BRMC 1293 Cooper ‘S‘
Terry Secker BRMC Caterham 7 VHPD
Dan Gick in his MX5 – 24th overall – 2nd in class
Multitasker of the Year As usual the success of the Sprint was down to hard work from all concerned, a special mention though must go to Terry Holmes who managed to fit attending his son's wedding into the lunch break.
